Rosalie Mae (Rockey) Hart, 77, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Sunday, November 23, 2025 after a period of declining health. Born in Waterville, ME, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. Sr. & Mildred M. (Tracy) Rockey, and the beloved wife of Paul M. Hart.

Raised and educated in Oakland, ME, Rosalie moved with her family to Waltham where she attended high school. In 1964 she met the love of her life Paul and they married in 1967. Together they moved to Framingham where they raised their family. Active in the community, Rosalie was a girl scout leader and Sunday School Teacher, and in her Maine years did 4H.

Over the years, Rosalie worked as an invoice audit clerk at Zayre, she worked the service counter at Star Market, and worked her way up from cafeteria worker to food service supervisor at the Framingham Public Schools.

Kind, loving, quiet, and reserved, happiness for Rosalie meant spending time with family. She loved camping at Nickerson State Park, bowling in her bowling league, and going to Dairy Queen for an ice cream. She enjoyed simply sitting on the deck watching the kids swim, a good musical, or anything on the Hallmark channel. Her many cats over the years always brought a smile to her face.

Along with her husband Paul, Rosalie is survived by her children, Tracie Hart and her husband Joaquim Fidalgo; and Andrew Hart. Her granddaughters, Cassandra Hart-Fidalgo, and Ashley Liang and her husband Brian Liang, and her great grandson, Hunter Liang. Her sister, Katherine Putnam and her husband Richard Putnam; and her sister in law Linda Rockey. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews whom she loved.

Besides her parents, Rosalie was predeceased by her brother, Robert Rockey, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Rosalie’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the Norton, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street, Framingham on Wednesday, December 10th from 9 – 10:45AM.
