L.L.Bean to Open Newest Store at Fresh Market Plaza on Nov. 7

The iconic outdoor lifestyle brand will celebrate the opening of its new store with a weekend of fun, family-friendly activities 

WHAT: L.L.Bean, the iconic outdoor lifestyle brand founded in Maine in 1912, is opening its newest retail store on Friday, Nov. 7 at Fresh Market Plaza (84 Worcester Rd.) in Framingham, MA. L.L.Bean’s new 20,000-square-foot location is the brand’s 12th store in Massachusetts, making their legendary assortment of four-season, outdoor-inspired apparel and footwear more accessible to their Metro West customers.

For more than a century, L.L.Bean has been known for high-quality craftsmanship, heritage style and exceptional customer service, all of which will be part of the shopping experience at Fresh Market Plaza. Customers will find everything they need for their year-round outdoor lifestyle, including layers and outerwear for fall and winter and the classics that established L.L.Bean’s reputation for quality and durability like the Bean Boot, Boat and Tote, Field Coat and flannel shirts in various weights.

“Massachusetts has always felt like a home-away-from-home for L.L.Bean, and we’re proud to continue growing in a region that shares our deep appreciation for the outdoors,” said Peggy Zaret, District Manager for L.L.Bean. “Opening in Framingham is an exciting next step that allows us to bring our outdoor heritage and fan favorites closer to our Metro West customers.”

As part of the grand opening celebration, L.L.Bean is proud to support the MetroWest YMCA – Framingham Branch with a $10,000 donation. Since 2022, L.L.Bean has contributed over $2.25 million to help fund YMCA Summer Camp scholarships, granting more children the opportunity to build confidence, form friendships and experience the joy of outdoor adventure.

The greater Framingham community is invited to attend the grand opening celebration on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7 – 8, which will feature a range of activities, including:
