Peter Salvucci, 72, of Framingham, MA passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2025. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 42 years, Janet D. Salvucci, who passed away in 2018. He is survived by his daughter Samantha (Salvucci) Fournier and her husband Aaron Fournier, Manchester, N.H., brother Frank Salvucci of Westford, MA., and his daughters Meaghan and Jennifer; sister-in-law Karen Flattery, Worcester, Ma., brother-in-law Jay Flattery of Ocala, FL.
Born in Newton, MA. Peter was the son of Francis J. Salvucci, Waltham, MA. and Margaret Allie Salvucci, Everett, MA. His parents died very early in Peter’s life and he, along with his brother Frank were raised by his Aunt & Uncle, Peter & Mary Salvucci of Waltham, MA.
Peter was a 1971 graduate of Waltham High School. He was a gifted mechanic and could repair anything with an engine. Several area companies benefited, incl; Hologic Systems, & Altaquip. With his knowledge of cars, he became a Licensed Insurance Appraiser with Arbella Insurance and ADESA Inc. Wanting to expand his skills, Peter went back to school to Worcester Technical Institute and graduated with a certificate in Semiconductor Manufacturing Applications.
His super-power was his comprehensive knowledge of ’50’s and ’60’s music. He could identify the song, the artist and the producer whenever a tune came on that no one else could remember.
Peter’s real love was his family, wife Janet and daughter Samantha. He had a passion for classic cars and enjoyed going to any show where they were present. A quiet man who liked to laugh, who enjoyed simple pleasures, visiting with friends, backyard barbeques and playing with the family dogs. He will be sorely missed.
Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Peter’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Sunday, November 2nd from 11:00AM-2:00PM. A prayer service will begin at 2:00. Interment will be private.
