MetroWest Medical Center officially opened its new Women’s Wellness Center today with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 61 Lincoln Street, Suite 101, adjacent to Framingham Union Hospital. Community members, hospital leaders, and local officials attended the event, which marked a significant step in making women’s health services more accessible in the MetroWest area.
The event included guided tours of the new space, opportunities to meet the care team, and remarks from hospital leadership and physicians. The new Women’s Wellness Center represents a significant investment in women’s health services across the MetroWest region, offering convenient access to advanced diagnostic technology and coordinated, compassionate care in one location. The center features 3D mammography, breast ultrasound services, bone density scans and Automated Breast Ultrasound System (ABUS), which will be available later this year.
“We’re proud to welcome the community into this space and share the exceptional care our team is delivering every day,” said Greg McFarland, CEO of MetroWest Medical Center. “The Women’s Wellness Center strengthens our mission to provide accessible, high-quality care close to home. With cutting-edge imaging technology and a skilled team of specialists, we’re delivering care that inspires confidence and trust for every patient who walks through our doors.”
Designed with comfort, privacy, and convenience in mind, the Women’s Wellness Center reflects MetroWest Medical Center’s ongoing commitment to advancing patient-centered care and improving access to essential services for the local community.
MetroWest Medical Center looks forward to continuing to support the health and well-being of the community through this important new offering.
