Sister Roberta Ristuccia, CSJ (Sister John Clare), in her 67th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Monday, September 1, 2025. Devoted daughter of the late John Andrew Ristuccia and Clara Rachael (Pullo) Ristuccia and loving sister of the late John Ristuccia, Claire Macdonald and David Ristuccia. Survived by her many cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews and her Sisters in the Congregation.
Formerly missioned as a teacher at St. Anthony School, Allston; St. William School, Dorchester; Walnut Park Montessori School, Newton; Waushakum Montessori School, Framingham; St. Agnes School, Arlington; and Principal at St. Agatha School, Milton. Sister Roberta also served as Vocation Director for the Sisters of St. Joseph, Brighton; as Campus Minster at Regis College, Weston; Mission Effectiveness Director at Bethany Hill School, Framingham; Registrar at Sisters of St. Joseph Retreat Center, Cohasset; and Secretary at Laboure College, Dorchester.
Visiting hours at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 631 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA, Friday, September 5, 2025, 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at the Motherhouse at 10:15 a.m. Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery, 211 Centre Street, Milton MA.
