Lawrence E. “Larry” Desilets, 76, of Framingham, MA, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, August 2, 2025. Born on January 28, 1949, in Framingham, Larry was the beloved son of Elliott and Margaret (Malloy) Desilets. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his large extended family and all who knew him.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Lucia (DeFilippo), his loving son Michael and daughter-in-law Stacy, and his adored grandchildren Meri Desilets of Framingham and Chris Desilets of Los Angeles, CA. He also leaves behind his brothers Michael (Sue), Gerard (Mary), and Kenneth (Roni), along with many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, his beloved son Jeremy, and his brothers Stephen, Thomas, and Leonard.
A proud graduate of Framingham State University and Suffolk University Law School, Larry was a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1974 and had a wonderful career as an attorney in Boston and Framingham. Larry was greatly respected by his peers and associates for his sharp wit and finely-honed speaking skills.
Larry will be fondly remembered for his deep commitment to family. He also found great joy in coaching Little League teams and serving as League President, creating lasting memories with so many of his sons’ friends.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Larry’s life by attending his Memorial Mass on Saturday morning, August 23rd at 10 o’clock in St. George Church, 74 School St. Framingham, MA
