Sister Paula Marie Finn, CSJ, in the 71st year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Sunday, July 27, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late William and Helena (Maturo) Finn, and loving sister of the late Donald and Joseph Finn. Sister Paula is survived by her devoted brother, Paul Finn, and his wife, Rita Lorenzo Finn, along with cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and her Sisters in the Congregation. Formerly missioned as a teacher at St. Columbkille School, Brighton; Our Lady of Grace School, Chelsea; Sacred Hearts School, Bradford; as teacher and Principal at St. Lazarus School, East Boston; as well Principal at St. Ann School, Dorchester; and Vice-Principal at Gate of Heaven School, South Boston. Sister Paula also served on the staff of the Communications Office for the Sisters of St. Joseph for over 10 years.
Visiting hours at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 631 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA, Friday, August 1, 2025, 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at the Motherhouse at 10:15 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, 180 Pond Street, Natick, MA. Arrangements by Norton, McKinney and Lawler Funeral Home, Framingham.
