Greg McFarland, MHA, is appointed Chief Executive Officer of MetroWest Medical Center, inclusive of Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham, and Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick. He is a seasoned leader known for his collaborative leadership style, strong results and deep commitment to both patient care and staff development.

“Greg brings a great blend of experience, leadership skills and strategic thinking to this role,” said Massachusetts Market CEO, Denten Park. “We are honored to have him lead the team at MetroWest Medical Center to deliver high-quality care to the communities we serve.”

This appointment has a personal connection for McFarland, as he specifically chose to move to the area to be closer to family.  He brings with him extensive experience in hospital operations, strategic growth, and physician alignment. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a 656-bed tertiary facility offering trauma, NICU, stroke, cardiac, and burn services. His experience partnering with physicians to develop and grow clinical programs will be an asset to future growth at MetroWest Medical Center.

McFarland holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Trinity University and a bachelor’s degree from Eastern New Mexico University.
