Ann “Nancy” L. (Sullivan) Halloran, 90, of Framingham, MA passed away peacefully from natural causes on June 3,2025 .
Nancy was born in Portland ME on November 8, 1934. She was the daughter of Joseph Sullivan and Mary Tirabassi. She grew up in Portland ,graduating from Portland High School, Class of 1952. She loved Portland and shared many happy memories with her family over the decades.
Nancy married Andrew (Buster) Halloran on October 10, 1961. Andrew passed away on August 8, 1985. Nancy is survived by her three daughters, Mary Daley, Donna Halloran and Kathleen Halloran( O’Leary) as well as her six devoted grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews. She leaves her brother Jack, of Portland. She was predeceased by her siblings Joan Mellen, Bernadette Dornan, Penelope Lamson.
Nancy moved from Portland ME to Framingham after she married. She was a dedicated homemaker prioritizing her family over everything else. As well, Ann greatly enjoyed her many friendships, especially with her “coffee crew”. She loved her coveted position at her local polls, working many decades for her precinct at Keefe Tech.
Nancy fostered a love of Portland in her three girls with multiple annual visits to see beloved family, to stroll Munjoy Hill and the Sullivan family 22 Atlantic St early childhood home, to picnic at the Eastern Promenade while the Prince of Fundy would come in, to enjoy the Italian Festival at St. Peter’s, to walk uptown to Porteous and Days, to witness the Old Port’s gradual resurgence.
Nancy’s services are private as per her wishes with Christian burial to follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Framingham MA.
