Amalia (Mummolo) Apodemi, 88, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Friday, April 4, 2025 after a period of declining health. Born in Atina, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Adelina (Fasoli) Mummolo, and the beloved wife of Pasquale Apodemi.

Amalia settled in Newton, and after her marriage to Pasquale, settled in Framingham to raise their four children.  Devoted to her family, she was a talented cook and especially enjoyed it during the holidays and special occasions with her family. For a long time, she owned her own childcare business.

Besides her husband, Pasquale, Amalia is survived by her children, Adeline, Umberto, Ugo, and Gina, her grandson, Adam Warab, his sister, Maria Mazzola & her husband Alfred, and her brother, Nicola Mummolo & his wife Carla, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private.
