Jacqueline M. (Todd) Liberatore of Framingham, MA passed peacefully away in her sleep on March 20, 2025 at the ripe young age of 90. Jackie (as she was commonly known) died as she has lived: both gently and gracefully. Born to Richard and Romelia (Mailhoit) Todd of “French Hill,” Marlborough, Jackie was predeceased by her husband John Liberatore and her two beloved sons Victor and Paul, as well as her twin brother Richard Todd and sister Joan (Todd) Parker. She leaves behind a battalion of nieces and nephews, including grands and great grands, who all loved her dearly.
A wonderful wife, mother and beloved friend, Jackie had grown up as a self-described “Army brat,” having lived all over the world including in post-World War II Germany. This gave Jackie a great perspective and compassion as the perpetual “new kid” in school. Though somewhat shy, she had an almost magical warmth that brought her new friends everywhere she went. Jackie met the love of her life, her husband John, roller skate dancing and from then on they mesmerized onlookers with their beautiful grace and incredible dance skills.
A graduate of Marlborough High School, Jackie lived most of her life in Framingham, raising her two sons Victor and Paul there. She worked part time up until her 90th birthday when she finally retired after a lifetime of work as an administrative assistant and a prior tenure at Verizon. She had recently moved to assisted living at Atrium Draper in Hopedale where she had made many new friends and received wonderfully attentive care.
Though Jackie had endured the untimely loss of her sons Paul and later Victor, she never complained and always met a challenge with deep joy, resounding faith in God, a sense of humor, and unbounded love, noting often that she had had “a truly great life.” Jackie and John had enjoyed traveling to Europe, where Holland was a favorite destination.
Jackie’s life will be celebrated at calling hours on March 24, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Norton, McKinney and Lawler Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street, Framingham. A funeral mass will be held March 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly Street, Framingham.
