Ippolito J. “Paul” Giammarinaro, 81, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died Friday, February 21, 2025.  Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Gaspare & Rose (Mangano) Giammarinaro, and the beloved husband of Kathleen (Linihan) Giammarinaro.

After high school Paul worked a short time at Fenwal Co., and went on to become a cosmetologist, owning salons in Medway, Bellingham, and Franklin, and even teaching cosmetology for a brief time before opening Best Cuts in Saxonville in June of 1984 where he was able to work alongside his wife and daughter for much of his career.

Paul loved his clients, and made sure the salon was always well decorated with flowers.  He loved his corvette, the music of Frankie Avalon, trips to the cape, going on cruises, but more than anything cherished time with family over anything else.

Besides his wife Kathy, Paul is survived by his brother, James & his wife Marion of Ashland and their son, Nicholas, his nephews Robert & Scott Rullie, his niece Laura Rullie, his sisters in law, Rose DeNucci, Patricia Hinch, Margaret Landry & her husband Doug, Mary Rufo & her husband Larry, and Nancy Zagami, and many nieces and nephews.  Paul was pre-deceased by his son, Brian Giammarinaro, daughter, Lisa Russell, sister Anne Rullie and brother John Giammarinaro.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Paul’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Wednesday, February 26th from 4-7pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. George Church, 74 School St. Framingham on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock.  Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham.
