Ellie Mental Health Expands Access to Mental Health Services in the MetroWest Area with New Framingham Clinic

Framingham, MA – Ellie Mental Health is excited to announce the grand opening of its new clinic in Framingham, the heart of MetroWest, on November 1, 2024. As residents of Framingham MA, owners Jenn and Doug Collins are passionate about expanding access to quality mental health care for individuals and families across the region.

Conveniently located on Speen Street in Framingham, Ellie Mental Health is committed to serving the MetroWest community, offering a welcoming and accessible space for those in need of support. The clinic provides a range of services, including Outpatient Mental Health Therapy, Neuropsychological Testing, Educational Evaluations, and Cognitive Assessments such as ADHD evaluations.

“Jenn and I wanted to create something truly meaningful and impactful within the MetroWest community where we live and work,” said Doug Collins, co-owner of Ellie Mental Health Framingham. “By opening this clinic in Framingham, we’re investing in the well-being of our Metrowest community neighbors and helping to break the stigma surrounding mental health.”

As active members of the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce, Ellie Mental Health Framingham is committed to building strong partnerships with local organizations and increasing awareness of mental health resources throughout the region. The clinic was also honored to receive the Small Business Citation from the Massachusetts Senate President’s Office, recognizing its efforts to expand access to care in MetroWest.

Addressing MetroWest’s Growing Mental Health Needs

“The 2023 MetroWest Health Foundation’s community survey showed that the demand for mental health providers in our area far exceeds the number of providers taking new patients. That’s why I am grateful that a Framingham husband-and-wife team chose to open Ellie Mental Health here in Framingham on Speen Street,” said City of Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky.

“Data from the CDC PLACES dataset shows that more than one out of every 10 adults in MetroWest reported poor mental health for 14 or more days per month. Additionally, the 2021 MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey revealed an alarming rise in anxiety and depression among local teens. Ellie Mental Health Framingham is here to provide therapy for individuals, children, teens, and families in a comfortable and supportive setting.”

Strengthening Mental Health Support Across MetroWest

“Joining the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce is an important step in our journey to bring more awareness of our clinic to the broader MetroWest community,” said Jenn Collins. “We’re eager to collaborate with other local organizations and make a lasting impact not just in Framingham, but in Natick, Ashland, Sudbury, Sherborn, Southborough, Wayland, and beyond.”

Ellie Mental Health Framingham aims to serve as a central hub for mental health care in MetroWest, offering personalized support to individuals and families in an inclusive and stigma-free environment.

“We are beyond excited to open our doors and make meaningful connections with those who need support,” said Sarah Prevelige, Clinic Director of Ellie Mental Health Framingham. “Our goal is to create a space where people feel safe, understood, and empowered to prioritize their mental health—with the full support of the MetroWest community.”
