Joseph L. Taralli, 95, a lifelong resident of Framingham died Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Bornin Framingham he was the son of Italian immigrants, Salvatore & Maria (Cali) Taralli, and the beloved husband of Keteria (Corea) Taralli for 72 years.
Joe served his country honorably in the United Sates Army during the Korean War. He married Keteria in 1952 and following his service they settled back in Framingham to raise their family. Joe worked for the Town of Framingham for a period before becoming a heavy equipment operator with Fantoni Construction and later Walsh Construction.
An avid gardener, Joe enjoyed woodworking and was an overall skilled handyman. He enjoyed watching golf but never played it and loved more than anything his family.
Besides his loving wife Keteria, Joe is survived by his children, James F. of Holliston, Frances of Framingham, Michael J. & his partner Karen of Framingham, and Kenneth & his wife Kimberley of Londonderry, NH, his grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Olivia, and Nicole, his great grandchildren, Angelina, Lucas, Merida, and Julian, and many nieces and nephews.
Joe was predeceased by his daughter in law, Gail Taralli, and his siblings, James, Tiffy, Connie, Jane, Sebastian, and Phyllis.
Family and friends will honor and remember Joe’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the Norton, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. Framingham on Monday morning, January 27th from 10-11AM. His graveside services will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham.
