Sister Ann Marie Masone, CSJ, (Sister Juvinus), in her 86th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Thursday, January 16, 2025. Devoted daughter of the late Raffaele and Pasquline (DiMinico) Masone, and loving sister of her late brothers, James and Anthony and her late sister, Jennie Pepe. Sister Ann Marie is survived by her devoted sister-in law, Karen Masone, her cherished nieces Deborah Frizzi and husband, Anthony, Sharyn Prete and husband Frank, and Jeanne Fryar, many grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews, along with her Sisters in the Congregation.
Sister Ann Marie was formerly missioned as food service director at the parishes of St. John, Canton; St. Aidan, Brookline; St. Paul, Cambridge; St. Andrew, Forest Hills; St. Ann, Dorchester; Immaculate Conception, Marlboro; and at the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, Milton. Sister then received her Cosmetology certificate and ministered as hairdresser to her CSJ communities at Fontbonne Convent, Milton and Framingham.
Visiting hours at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 631 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at the Motherhouse at 10:15 a.m. Burial: 12:30 pm following the funeral – All will meet at Holy Cross Cemetery, 175 Broadway, Malden.
