Lorraine A. (Castelli) LaForce, 88, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Saturday, September 21, 2024 after a period of declining health.  Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Antonio & Angelina (Puntini) Castelli.

Raised and educated in Framingham, Lorraine worked for many years in accounting at TV 38. Retirement didn’t suit her long, before she went back to work for Accept Transportation and worked there until she retired for good.

Lorraine loved shopping and food.  She enjoyed car trips to Cape Cod, Maine and New Hampshire, and gardening.  She never met a stranger. More then anything she loved her family whom she would do anything for, including her fur babies.  She regularly donated to animal organizations.

Lorraine leaves behind her partner of over 50 years, Dick Dixon of Framingham, her children, Robin LaForce-Decker & her husband Darrell of Dennis, and Daryl LaForce & his wife Lynne of Holliston, her grandchildren, Mercedees Decker & her partner Aaron Viera, Tiffani Decker Mariluz & her husband Kevin, Michelle Bratcher & her husband Henry, Heather Lamb & her husband Andy, and Deseree Spriggs & her husband Michael, her great grandchildren, Jayden and Jordan Spriggs, Sydney and Lydia Bratcher, and Avery Lamb.

Besides her parents, Lorraine was pre deceased by her brothers, Reno and Nevio Castelli.

Family and friends will honor and remember Lorraine’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Monday, September 30th from 1-3PM. Interment will be private.
