Jeffrey David Vorderer, age 56, beloved son of Georgia (O’Connell) and the late Frederick Vorderer, passed away after a long illness on September 22, 2024.
He was the father of Elizabeth and Matthew Vorderer, the brother of Christopher and Stephen (Renee) Vorderer, Uncle of David (Marilyn) Vorderer and Kristen Vorderer. He is also survived by his Aunt Linda, Aunt Peggy, Uncle Donald, and by many cousins.
Jeffrey was a graduate of Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School in 1986. He received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1990 at the University of Vermont and a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University in 1996. Also, he was awarded a Merit Fellowship for academic excellence.
Jeff was employed at Analog Devices for over 30 years and was a Senior Engineer.
One of his passions was traveling with his brother Chris to European countries and popular U.S. sites. They particularly enjoyed hiking at various National Parks.
Throughout the years he participated in many sports, but hockey was his main passion. He especially enjoyed skating with his father and brothers.
Jeff was a devoted father that loved his two children. They were the center of his life. He had a kind and gentle soul that touched the hearts of all those fortunate enough to have known him. He will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a time of visitation on Monday September 30, 2024 from 9 – 10:45am at St. Anselm Church, 100 Landham Road, Sudbury followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Wadsworth Cemetery in Sudbury.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to St. Anselm Church-Cancer Shrine at 100 Landham Road, Sudbury, MA 01776.
