FRAMINGHAM -Pietra (Marrone) Mistretta, age 93 of Framingham, died, Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Tufts Medical Center, Boston MA.
Born in Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Ignazia (Asaro) Marrone.
She was the wife to the late Mario Mistretta who died on June 27, 1983
Pietra enjoyed spending time in her garden, cooking for her family and reading a good book.
She worked for many years at the Dennis Manufacturing Company in Framingham.
Pietra is survived by her daughters, Maria Mistretta, and Francesca Hodgson and her husband Robert; grandchildren, Jessica McKinley, Stephanie Hodgson and David McKinley; great grandchildren, Johnathan, Stephen, and Hayden McKinley. She is also survived by her niece, Antonietta Asaro, nephew Reno Asaro and great nephews Christopher and Robert Asaro. Niece Ezia Leach and her husband Martin; great nephew, Daniel, and great niece Sedona Leach.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral Mass at St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St, Framingham, MA on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 10AM. Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (Corner of Union Ave.) Framingham, on Monday September 9, 2024, from 5-7PM
