Harriet Lorraine (Gildner) Segal passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 after a brief illness at the age of 76.

Raised in New York City by Nathan and Esther Gildner, Harriet spent her younger years hanging out with Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, and The Dave Clark 5. She traveled extensively around the globe and lived on a kibbutz in Israel for four years. Harriet was a well known and well respected real estate agent in the Metrowest area for several decades, working for ERA, Realty Executives, and Re/Max. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doting on her dog, Daisy, knitting blankets for everyone she encountered, and playing mahjong with friends.

She is survived by her children, Erin Jansky of Rochdale, MA and her husband, Dennis, Adam Segal of Natick, MA and his fiancé, Julianne, and Dan Segal of North Yarmouth, ME and his wife, Emma. She will be missed most by her grandchildren, Talia, Nathan, and Lincoln Segal, and Anna Goldsmith. She is predeceased by her beloved parents and her sister, Marlene Applebaum.

Family and friends will honor and remember Harriet’s life by gathering at the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Sunday, August 25th beginning at 4PM, with a service to start at 4:45.
