It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David B. Manzella, a long-time resident of Natick, who passed away peacefully in his home, on July 25th, 2024 at the age of 64.

David was the son of the late Frank E. Manzella Sr. and Dorothy J. (Alberta) Manzella. He is survived by his loving family, including his devoted brothers Frank E. Manzella Jr. and his wife Deborah of Hopkinton, and their children: Michael and his wife Karen, along with their sons Ryan and Finn; Megan and her son Mason; Christine and her husband Nick, along with their son Rocky; and Matthew. He is also survived by his brother Thomas Manzella and his domestic partner Roberta Corcoran of Hudson, New Hampshire, and Thomas’s children, Jennifer and Joseph. David was a cherished uncle and a proud great-uncle to all.

Born in Framingham, David attended Joseph P. Keefe Technical High School before pursuing higher education at Fitchburg State University and Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree.

David was the visionary owner and operator of ATD Landscaping. His remarkable creativity and design skills brought to life breathtaking landscapes, both residential and commercial. His passion for landscaping was evident not only in his professional work but also in the serene beauty of his own garden, where he found peace and solace among his many flowers and plants.

David was a loving brother, uncle, friend, and neighbor, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His love for his family was unwavering, and he brought joy to everyone around him. Sunday morning coffee with family and the holidays spent together were moments he cherished deeply.

David was an avid reader, known for his sharp intellect and quick wit, never at a loss for words during a political debate. He always brought a thoughtful perspective to holiday conversations, often sharing family stories that everyone cherished. His meticulous nature was evident in everything he did—from selecting the perfect birthday cards to wrapping gifts with such care that they appeared as if a professional had handled the task. David’s love for perfection shone most brightly in the beautiful gardens he tended, where his dedication and artistry truly flourished.

There will be a small, private service for close friends and family. In remembrance of David, we invite you to share your thoughts and reflections at WWW.MCCARTHYFH.COM, celebrating the impact he had on all who knew him.
