MetroWest Medical Center is Recipient of Coverdell Stroke Award

Each year the Massachusetts Paul Coverdell Stroke Systems of Care Collaborative hosts an award ceremony to recognize participants’ achievements in meeting quality of care benchmarks and participation requirements during calendar year 2023.  This year, DPH announced that MetroWest Medical Center is the recipient of the following Coverdell award:

o    Get with the Guidelines – Stroke Gold Plus, Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll. MetroWest was able to demonstrate at least 90% compliance for 12 consecutive months for a composite of all required measures for eligibility.

This is a true testament to our stroke team’s efforts throughout the year to participate in Coverdell trainings and for their ongoing commitment to improving the quality of care provided to stroke patients.
