Sally’s Night Celebration!

2024 marks the 41st anniversary of Sally Ride’s historic STS-7 mission and becoming the first American woman in space. To honor her and this special anniversary, we are partnering with the National Air and Space Museum and joining fellow Smithsonian Affiliates across the country to host an evening filled with fun for learners of all ages! Come celebrate and show us how you #ShineLikeSally!

Pre-registration is only required for the mission, and age restrictions apply.
Attendees of all ages are welcome to participate in all other FREE activities!

5:30PM – 7:30PM: Expedition Mars Space Mission Simulation (Pre-registration required, space is limited!)
6:30PM – 7:45PM: Hands-on activities led by NASA Solar System Ambassadors, nostalgic 1980s trivia and puzzles, a photobooth, and official NASA giveaways
7:45PM – 8:30PM: Planetarium Film: Destination Mars (open seating)
