Maria A. (Csillag) Antonsson, 86, a longtime resident of Framingham and most recently Natick, died suddenly, May 12, 2024 after a period of declining health. Born in Hungary, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Anna (Namath) Csillag, and the beloved wife of the late Stefan Antonsson.

In 1969, she immigrated with her family to the US starting in Wayland, and ultimately settling in Framingham. With a strong work ethic instilled in her from a young age in Hungary, she worked many different jobs over the years.

Maria loved children, and at one time had intended on becoming a pediatric nurse. She loved flowers, her gardens, and anything and everything about animals. She was an excellent cook, and was talented in her knitting and crocheting skills. Athletic by nature, she had a love for all sports, particularly soccer. Maria had a strong catholic faith, and an extremely generous heart.
