Christopher J. Ahearn, 67, of Framingham MA passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 after a brief illness. He was born in Dorchester MA, the son of the late Joseph P. Ahearn Jr. and the late Mary M. Ahearn of Framingham. Chris attended Marian High School in Framingham, and was a proud alumnus of the University of Notre Dame. He subsequently earned his law degree from Suffolk University.

Chris was predeceased by siblings Joseph P. Ahearn III of Savoy IL, John S. Ahearn of Walpole MA, Mark V. Ahearn of Stoughton MA and Daniel L. Ahearn of Middlebury VT.
He is survived by his sons Brian Ahearn of Springfield MA and Patrick Ahearn of South Boston MA, as well as by his siblings Gerald Ahearn of Costa Rica, Gregory Ahearn and companion Ellen Schneider of Natick MA, Gerard Ahearn and his wife Jeanne of Bolton MA, Paul Ahearn and his wife Anita of Medway MA, Mary Saras and her husband Carl of Hopedale MA and Julie Scott and her husband Michael of Holden, as well as by many nieces and nephews.

Chris was an avid golfer, a long time Celtics season ticket holder, and a fan of ‘all things Notre Dame’. He enjoyed Irish music, good company and a nice cigar.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a time of visitation on Thursday, May 30, from 9:30-10:30 at St Gabriel the Archangel church, 151 Mendon St., Upton MA. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 am at St. Gabriels. A private burial at St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christopher’s name to a charity of your choice.
