Paul F. Kelly

Paul F. Kelly, age 72, a longtime resident of Framingham, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 29, 2024, one day shy of his 73rd birthday.
He was the beloved husband of Anne (Crowley) Kelly with whom he shared 34 incredible years of love. Anne was the light of his life and the driving force behind the courageous battle he fought during his final six months. His love for her was evident by the way he lit up as soon as she walked into the room.
He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late John and Marjorie (Carlz) Kelly. Paul and his family soon moved to Watertown where he spent the majority of his childhood. Paul was predeceased by his brother, John, and sisters, Margie and Nancy.
Paul dedicated over 40 years of his life to a career in facilities management at the Food and Drug Administration and while he loved the work he did – his true passion was his family. He was the epitome of a family man and loved nothing more than sitting around a holiday table with his extended family, playing games and cracking jokes. He dedicated his life to raising two loving daughters who cherished every minute they had together. Paul’s greatest joy was watching his beautiful grandchildren grow up – he took pride in being their Papa and never shied away from bragging about how incredible they were every chance he got.
He enjoyed taking trips to Cape Cod and Maine to enjoy the beautiful scenery and delicious seafood and he particularly enjoyed cruising to Bermuda with family and friends. He was a loyal fan of the New England Patriots, loved animals, and never missed an opportunity to strike up a conversation with anybody around him.
Paul is survived by his wife, Anne, daughter Debbie Debalsi and her husband Chris, and daughter Lisa Crowley, grandchildren Tyler, Alyse, Ally, Ashley, Maddie, and Lilli, great-grandchildren Everleigh and Parker, in-laws Marion, Jack, Diane, and David, nephews, Joe, Mark, John, niece Christine and bonus-granddaughter Violet.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street, Framingham, on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1 PM. A private burial at St. Stephen Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Paul’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. We are all better people for having known him and we will never stop missing him. May he rest in peace.
