FRAMINGHAM – Wesley H. Delano, passed at home from a lengthy illness on April 15th, 2024.

Born September 14, 1943, in Natick, he was the son of the late Herman H Delano and Leona W. Culverhouse.

Wes was a Graduate of Framingham High School, class of 1963. He served in the Army National Guard, Co B 26 S&T BN Framingham. 1965-1971.

He married his childhood sweetheart Carol in June 1967.

Wes is survived by his wife Carol (Buck) Delano and his daughters, Patricia J Delano, Holbrook, Ma., Kristine C Modugno and her husband Albert Modugno, Clinton Ma., Sarah L Contino and her husband Brian Contino, Little Rock, Ark., and his son Wesley B Delano of Framingham MA. He was blessed to have and love four beautiful grandchildren, Madison and Albert J Modugno (AJ), Vincent, and Amelia Contino

You could say Wes was a person of many trades. He could fix and repair about anything. He worked for IBM maintaining Office Equipment. He worked at Raytherm Inc. in Medway as a machinist. He worked for Diamond Machine Technology in Marlborough, maintaining the equipment for the diamond stones and sharpeners until retirement.

He was a model maker building radio control boats, airplanes and cars. He built doll houses and miniature doll furniture. A huge collector of American Flyer trains. He fixed and repaired cars. A fan of Nascar racing. His greatest love is his 65 Mustang and being a member of the Modifiers Car club and doing many car shows. His special thing to do everyday was go to Honey Dew Donuts, meeting up with his good friends for coffee, mornings and afternoons.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 2PM at the Beacon of Hope United Methodist Church of Framingham. 360 Water St. Framingham, Ma. Interment will be private.
