FRAMINGHAM – Science on State Street is Framingham State University’s annual science festival, a community-wide event organized by Framingham State University’s Christa McAuliffe Center in collaboration with MetroWest STEM Education Network.

Science on State Street has a particular focus on themes relating to planet Earth. Explore science, technology, engineering, and math and the ways they support environmental justice, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability!

This free event is open to residents of all ages and will take place on Saturday, April 27, from Noon to 3 p.m. in the McAuliffe Center and O’Connor Hall parking lot!

Exhibitors this year include:

  • MIT Lincoln Labs, which will have a table on building a lightsaber!
  • An interactive human body exhibition provided by Boston Scientific.
  • A demonstration on the Power of AI by MathWorks.
  • A booth featuring the U.S. Army DEVCOM Soldier Center, with information on how STEM professionals contribute to protecting our nation’s soldiers.
