Brian John Dobson, born October 11, 1956, of Framingham passed away suddenly on March 18, 2024 with his family by his side. Brian was the son of the late Austin M. and Marion (Gray) Dobson.

Brian attended Framingham Public Schools and was looking forward to his upcoming 50th high school reunion. Brian worked for many years at Easy Day Manufacturing (Suburbanite Industries) before a change to working for the City of Framingham Public Works Department. Most recently, Brian worked for Allegiance Trucking. Brian also enjoyed his own snow plowing business. Brian was a hard worker and when he did relax, he liked nothing better than to vacation or spend time with his family. Good times and fond memories were made at the family cottage on Lake Winnipesaukee, Ocean Edge Resort, Deer Park, NH, and Boothbay, Maine.

Brian is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife Karen (Cicciu), his two sons, Kevin (Amanda) Dobson, Brendon (Jaimie) Dobson, and daughter, Kristin (Matthew) Oliveira. “Beepa” to his pride and joy grandchildren, Lillian, Nora, Austin, Nevin, and Reagan Dobson, and John and Keily Hedderman, as well as much loved bonus grandchildren, Hunter Shuman and Alaura Oliveira. Lastly, his beloved and treasured best friend and grand dog Leia. Brian also leaves his mother-in-law Hazel Cicciu, his in-law family, and much loved nieces and nephews. Brian was well known and had many close friends and acquaintances, including his friend and honorary brother, Paul Kelley.

Brian will be remembered as a man who enjoyed his family and friends. He was always willing to lend a hand or give advice. If you needed something, Brian would be there for you. Brian was an avid Boston sports fan with a passion for giving strong advice while they played. Brian spent many years watching his children play sports as well as coaching for years with Framingham Youth Hockey.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the NCCU staff at Tufts Medical for the compassionate care that was given. Brian will be greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts.

Visiting hours are 4:00-8:00 p.m. on March 25, 2024, at Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (Corner of Union Ave.) Framingham. Funeral service will be held privately.
