Mary V. (Laurini) DeAngelis, 95, a lifelong resident of Natick died Thursday morning, January 11th.  Born in Natick, she was the daughter of Italian immigrants, the late Valente & Pasqua Laurini and the beloved wife of 69 years to the late Carl A. DeAngelis.

Mary grew up in the Navy Yard section of Natick around the corner from Carl the love of her life.  She was a graduate of Natick High class of 1945, and shortly after she began taking the train into Boston to pursue her career as a hairdresser.  Her and her sister Jean opened up their own salon on North Main Street in Natick.  During that time, she also began to raise her family with Carl.

Carl and Mary’s house was open to all and was always a neighborhood favorite for their family and friends. Mary’s presence sprinkled with good humor and kindness made everyone feel like it was their home.

Guided by her faith, Mary was a devout catholic and parishioner of St. Patrick’s in Natick her entire life.  She was extremely proud of her Italian heritage and passed both down to her children, and grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her five children, Mark DeAngelis and his wife Jamie of Holladay, Utah, Ann Osgood and her husband Leland of Vinalhaven, Maine, Anita Davis and her husband Jeff of Ashland, Carla Ferrera and her husband Walter of Natick, Lisa Colombo and her husband John of Mendon. Grandmother of Matt DeAngelis and his wife Meghan, Jenny McNamara and her husband Jack, Justin Davis and his wife Hannah, Nicholas Davis, Alexandra Ferrera, Samantha Ferrera, Hunter Ferrera, Connor Colombo, Paige Colombo and her fiancé Carson and Abigail Colombo. Great grandmother to Taylor and Ryder DeAngelis, and Luca and Bodie Davis. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved and adored her.

Mary was also predeceased by her siblings, Alfred Laurini, Jean Arminio, and Gus Laurini.

Family and friends are welcome to remember Mary by celebrating her life at her Funeral Mass on Thursday morning, January 18th at St. Patrick’s Church, 44 E. Central St. Natick at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick.
