Cecile M. (Boucher) Testa, 80, a longtime resident of Saxonville, and most recently Marlborough, died Tuesday, December 26, 2023 after a period of declining health. Born in NY, NY, she was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Testa.

Cecile spent her early years in Florida, and summers with her grandparents in Laconia NH, before finally settling down and living with her uncle in Saxonville. She was a graduate of Framingham North High School. During which, she worked at Jordan Marsh.

Cecile was a devout Catholic and her life was completely involved with Jesus. Her relationship with the Lord was always first before anything. She was very involved with the church her whole life. Her home parish growing up was St Jeremiah and after it closed, she attended St. George. She was a treasured member of her prayer group that met once a week.

She was truly the rock of her family. A beautiful family person. Her marriage with her husband Robert was based all on the word of God, always putting God first in their marriage and for their boys. Cecile and Robert truly loved each other with Gods love. You could see the power of God through her marriage. Cecile and Robert were truly faithful to one another and shared the most beautiful marriage together. They enjoyed the ocean and boating, and maintained their boat at the Newton Yacht Club, and later the Charles River Yacht Club in Cambridge.

Cecile worked with Robert in the family business in Natick, Globe Auto Sales as the office bookkeeper and then became a stay at home mom when her first son Jonathan was born. She was her second born son Jason’s lifelong caregiver. Jason was born with a rare disease that caused him to have many medical challenges, she worked with him day and night through many hospital stays, surgeries and developmental growth, leading up until the day she passed away.

She loved her summer home in NH on Lake Winnipesaukee. She spent every summer, vacation and weekends as a family there making many special memories boating, water skiing, tubing, swimming, and exploring all of the white mountains.

Recently in this past year she was very excited about her son Jonathan’s wedding and watching Tiffany and Jonathan and their wedding plans come together. She cherished the time she had to get to know Jonathan’s fiancé’ Tiffany and came to love her very much and was very much looking forward to the wedding this coming February. Jonathan & Tiffany have peace from the Lord knowing that Cecile will be with them in spirit on that day. Cecile was also very excited and happy to see her son Jason get engaged to Ashley, Jason’s girlfriend of 4 years who Cecile loved very much.

Cecile is survived by her sons, Jonathan Testa & his fiancée Tiffany Purcell of Danvers, and Jason Testa & his fiancée Ashley Marie of Marlborough, her brothers, Stephen Boucher & his wife Donna, Donald Poulin & his wife Edie, Leonard Poulin & his wife Mary, and David Poulin & his wife Leah, her sisters, Danielle Bodley & her husband Marty, Michelle Olsen & her husband Dave, her sister in law, Daloris Screti of Malden, her nieces, Kerri Mullen, Dannette Duffy, Denise Freedman, Sherry Stomberg, her nephew, Matthew Boucher, and many other nieces and nephews.
