MetroWest Medical Center’s Rhonda Shepherd Named a Tenet Hero

Tenet Healthcare’s annual recognition program honors standout employees

NATICK, Mass. – September 15, 2023 – MetroWest Medical Center announced today that Rhonda Shepherd, Concierge for Leonard Morse Hospital, has been honored by Tenet Healthcare as part of its annual recognition program. Rhonda has been named a Tenet Hero for her outstanding contributions in 2022.

The Tenet Heroes program celebrates those individuals who make a meaningful impact within their communities and go above and beyond their daily responsibilities. Nominated by leadership and/or fellow colleagues, Tenet Heroes exemplify the company’s core values and commitment to its mission.

Rhonda was recognized as a Tenet Hero for many reasons including her willingness to frequently step in and help her coworkers, as a true team player. She has proactively offered to take on additional responsibilities whether overseeing the administrative part of the Pet Therapy program, supporting logistics for the annual volunteer luncheon or helping ensure staff and visitors stay safe with required COVID protocols.

“Rhonda is a true inspiration who continues to make a positive and meaningful impact in our community each day,” said John Whitlock, MetroWest Medical Center’s Chief Executive Officer.  “We are deeply grateful to Rhonda for her dedication, selfless efforts, and commitment to our mission.”
