Anne Maria Fairbanks, 82, of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, died peacefully on August 31, 2023. Anne was born on October 12, 1940, to Fredrick Kennedy and Marjorie Kennedy (Benner) in Framingham, Massachusetts. She graduated from Peters High School in Southborough, Massachusetts in 1958.

She was a faithful lifelong member of Faith Community Church in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. She was very artistically talented and enjoyed painting, family parties and holidays, spending time with her loved ones, Sunday road trips with her husband, Art, and Cape Cod vacations with her girlfriends. She was very caring, devoted, social, strong, and thoughtful to all who knew her. She was an anchor to the family, laughed easily, and had steadfast faith.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Arthur W. Fairbanks, Sr., her brother Edward Kennedy and his wife, Brenda (Witkowski), her sister, Janet Parks (Kennedy), and her brother, Richard Kennedy. She has also left behind her children and stepchildren: Donna L. Fairbanks, Kathleen A. Campbell (Hilditch), Tammie Talvey (Fairbanks) and her husband, David, John A. Hilditch and his wife, Karen (Heyward), Arthur W. Fairbanks, Jr. and his wife, Janet (Dykstra), Nancy Moschini (Hilditch) and her husband, Peter, Marcy Fairbanks-Linane and her deceased husband, Dennis Linane, and many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her infant daughter, Julie Hilditch.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 9th at 10:00 am. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rural Cemetery in Southborough, following the service.
Following the burial, a reception will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Community Church, 146 E Main Street, Hopkinton.
