MassBay Community College will hold its All Vehicle Show on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 8AM – 12PM at the MassBay Automotive Technology Center in Ashland, MA. The show is free and open to the public, featuring vehicles of all genres – from 1930s roadsters to modern muscle cars to imported vehicles. The spectators that attend will vote to award the Top People’s Choice Cars and Top Show Cars. In addition, any MassBay alumni who attend will vote for the Alumni Choice Awards.
The All Vehicle Show is an opportunity for car enthusiasts to showcase their vehicles to the community and for prospective students, newly admitted students and the community to tour the automotive technology center and attend a tour to learn about the automotive technology program. MassBay Automotive Technology faculty members will also be displaying its Dynapack dynamometer, which can simulate a variety of driving conditions without driving the vehicle on the road and teaches students a deeper understanding of automotive performance. The Dynapack dynamometer will be demonstrated at 10am and 11am.

Individuals interested in participating can register their vehicle the morning of the show, any questions can be directed to David Protano at 781-239-3043. Registering your vehicle costs $20 and all proceeds will benefit student automotive scholarships and the automotive students’ emergency fund, both of which provide critical financial assistance to help students stay in school and finish their automotive training.

MassBay’s Auto Technology is the premier automotive training center in the New England region offering programs that are sponsored by four major automotive brands; BMW, Toyota/Lexus, General Motors, and JEEP/Chrysler/Dodge/Ram, providing students with in-depth, product-specific automotive technology programs. MassBay also has a new non-manufacture specific All Brand General Studies program, which provides students with a comprehensive education and hands-on training on multiple types of makes and models of vehicles. Students are trained on the newest cars using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. The program has a hands-on paid co-op component, enabling students to learn in a professional setting while earning money and college credit simultaneously. MassBay’s automotive program has a 99% placement rate of graduates into full-time jobs by graduation.
