This Memorial Day weekend, local 501(c)3 nonprofit, Warrior Within Yoga Project is hosting a special yoga fundraiser to honor those who have sacrificed their lives in service to the United States.

The public yoga class takes place 11:00am on Saturday, May 27th in the outdoor beer garden at Jack’s Abby Beer Hall at 100 Clinton St, Framingham, MA.

Proceeds from the event will help support their work of providing local veterans, service members, first responders and their families with access to free trauma-informed yoga. For every $10 raised, the organization is able to provide a local veteran or first responder with one free class.

Tickets are on sale on their website. $25 General Admission includes a drink ticket to be used afterwards (guests must be 21 with ID to redeem their ticket for a beer). Veterans, active duty service members and first responders pay just $10 with code ISERVE15 at check out.

Warrior Within Yoga Project, Inc was founded in September 2022 by Framingham native and resident, Lauren Turner. The organization hosts free yoga class for veterans and first responders across Massachusetts. Currently they offer classes in Natick, Marlborough, Worcester and Devens which are free and exclusive to the military and first responder community.
