NATICK – It is with great sadness the family of Allison Jean Carew announce her unexpected passing on April 19, 2023.

Allison was the youngest of eight children to the late Alice (O’Neil) Carew and Frederick Carew. She was a dear sister to Maureen Lakeburg and husband Ron of Tucson, AZ; Paul Carew and wife Peggy of Natick, MA; Eileen Carew and husband Bob Charpentier of Natick, MA; Kathleen Stephan and her late husband Bob of Pequot Lakes, MN; Colleen Carew and her husband Joe Abbate of Crozet, VA; Michael Carew and his wife Sandy of Holliston, MA; and Joan Carew of Natick, MA.  Allison also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Allison’s single greatest pride and joy was being mom to her daughter Heather Albanese. She was a devoted and loving Nana to her 4 year-old grandson Lucas whom she called her “honey pie”.

Allison was a long-time school bus driver in Natick. Over the years she drove for both the Connolly Bus Company and JFK Transportation.  She especially loved driving the special needs buses and vans.
