FRAMINGHAM – Delina Mary Sannicandro, 99, of Framingham passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side, April 23, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Alessandro and Adelaide (Luzzi) Travaglini. Beloved wife of the late Michael R. Sannicandro with whom she shared 68 years of marriage.

Devoted mother to Mike (Bonnie), Paul, Marie (John) Linden and Elaine (Ron) Bourette. Cherished grandmother to Lynn (Gerry) Lawrie and great granddaughter Katelyn. Sister to the late Henry, Mario, John, Ted, Silvio, Theresa, Eureka Bortolussi, Ida Mancinelli, Nettie Mei and Mary Werner.

Delina was strong, generous, fiercely loyal and showed her love through her talented cooking, always making enough for an army and distributing food to everyone she could. She enjoyed tracking the Red Sox wins and losses and never failed to comment that “they stink” when the Sox lost. She loved Jesus, the Blessed Mother, St. Joseph and many special saints to whom she prayed every day. She is going to be profoundly missed.
