FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High School Marching Band won NESBA Winds Class A Champions with a score of 92.8, over the weekend.

The indoor flyers (winds and percussion) has 13 students.

“NESBA has only been open to winds groups for a few years, and Framingham is one of only 2 schools in MA to create this type of group. This is their first championship,” said Director Andy Jasinski.

The Framingham High Color Guard, in a tough 10-team division, finished 4th, in Salem on Saturday, April 4. They scored 90.01.

“Both of our indoor teams have worked so hard this winter to create beautiful shows, grow as a unit, and perfect their performances. All of the professional feedback we have received on these groups is that their growth is stellar – they are truly becoming “teams to watch” within NESBA. Our students and staff put everything into these productions and we could not be more proud of the result!”

The production is called Midnight Macabre and can be viewed below.
