FRAMINGHAM – A driver was cited after a pedestrian was struck in downtown Framingham yesterday afternoon.

The man was struck on Thursday, March 30 at 12:40 p.m. at the intersection of Concord Street and Union Avenue, while in the crosswalk, said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt,. Rachel Mickens.

The man was transported to Framingham Union Hospital with injuries.

The driver was cited for a crosswalk violation, said Lt. Mickens.

No other information was released by police.
