FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police are investigating a theft of a pocketbook at Trader Joe’s on Sunday, in which a credit card was used to charge thousands of dollars worth of merchandise at Shoppers World.

The theft was reported at 2:29 p.m. on March 26 at 659 Worcester Road.

“A wallet was taken from a pocketbook,” said Framingham Police spokesperson.

“A credit card was used at Best Buy in the amount of $3,600,” said Framingham Police Lt. Mickens.

Framingham Police have no suspect information.

Shoppers are reminded to keep an eye on their pocketbook at all times and to not leave their pocketbook unattended at a grocery store or other retail outlet.
