UPDATED: Framingham & Natick Extinguish 2-Alarm Brush Fire Adjacent to Natick Mall

NATICK -Firefighters from Natick and Framingham battled a 2-alarm brush fire adjacent to the Natick mall on Sunday afternoon, March 26.

A second alarm was called for the brush fire between the Natick Mall and AMC Theatre, just before 3:30 p.m.

The fire was knocked down around 5 p.m. said Natick Fire.

Natick Fire said there were power lines down in the fire area.

Witnesses said there was an explosion and then a fire was seen near the brush adjacent to the garage near the Wegmans’ end of the mall.

Eversource has been called to the site and requested to shut down power.
