FRAMINGHAM – In celebration of Women’s History Month, the League of Women Voters of Framingham is hosting a virtual panel on Sunday, March 26 at with the women leading Framingham today.

As the local League of Women Voters, we could not be more proud that every District in Framingham is represented by a woman at some level within our local government. In recognition of this, we will be joined by some of the women currently representing Framingham including District 6 School Committee member Valerie Ottaviani, District 1 City Councilor Christine Long, City Council Vice Chair Janet Leombruno, State Rep. and School Committee Chair Priscila Sousa, Library Trustee Isabella Petroni, District 8 School Committee member Jessica Barnhill, and District 3 School Committee member Jennifer Moshe to have an informal discussion on women in municipal leadership, the importance of representation, running for local office, and more.

Susan Petroni, the founder of Framingham’s local news source, the Framingham Source, will also be a part of the discussion.

Together, this panel of powerful women in Framingham represent so much of what this month is about. We hope to see you there!
