FRAMINGHAM – Police arrested a Marlborough man on an armed robbery charge yesterday evening, March 23.

Arrested at 5:32 p.m. was Luke Shea, 29, of 46 Briarwood Lane in Marlborough., He was charged with armed robbery and assault & battery with a dangerous weapon.

Shea went into “Bacon Liquor Store and stole two bottles of alcohol,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“On the way out one of the clerks tried to stop him outside and Shea struck the clerk in the head with the bottle,” said Lt. Mickens.

Shea was located a short time later and arrested, said the Police spokesperson.
