NATICK – Elinor Ann (Sullivan) Keefe, 88, of Natick, passed away, Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at home.

She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Keefe Jr.

Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur V. and Frances V. (McGourty) Sullivan.

Mrs. Keefe had worked from 1957-1962, as an elementary school teacher for the Natick Public Schools. 

Then after leaving education to raise a family, she returned to education as a special education teacher at Project Accept for 23 years, retiring in 2001. 

She was an avid reader, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Daniel J. Keefe III and his wife Kim of Natick, MA, Brian R. Keefe and his wife Karen of Ashland, MA, and Andrew D. Keefe and his wife Kristyn of Seattle, WA, three grandchildren, Brenna, Catie and Emily, and one great granddaughter, Ellieanna.  She was also the sister of the late Arthur V. Sullivan.

Visiting hours will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, on 4 Park Street in Natick on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Funeral services and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Natick Recreation & Parks, c/o Parents Association for The Handicapped, 179 Boden Lane, Natick, MA, 01760.
