ASHLAND – Mary (Dzindolet) Riley, 96 of Nashua, NH former longtime resident of Ashland, passed away Saturday March 18, 2023 with her family by her side. 

Born in Ashland, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Stephina (Czchoska)) Dzindolet and wife of the late James Riley who died in 1989. 

A graduate of Ashland High School, Mary worked as a bookkeeper for Fenwal of Ashland for many years and was an active parishioner of St. Cecilia’s Church in Ashland.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Wyllie and her husband Glenn of Nashua, NH, her grandchildren, Matthew Wyllie of Centerville, MA, Lauren Wyllie of Stoneham, MA, and many nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Tony Dzindolet, Lottie Fair, Jenny Freeman, Eddie Dzindolet, Helen Dzindolet, Irene Werkowski, Edie Sage, Barney Dzindolet, and Alie Dzindolet.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday March 24 at 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia’s Church, 54 Esty St. Ashland, with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery of Ashland. 

Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland.
