1 Downtown Framingham Inc. will hold its Shamrock Stroll tonight.

2. Christimara (Christy) Garcia, the new Director of the Framingham State University Entrepreneur Innovation Center spoke yesterday at the Framingham Business Association meeting.

3. Last night, the 9-member School Committee held its public hearing on its proposed Fiscal Year 2024 budget for the 2023-24 school year.

The proposed $165 million budget has not been voted on yet.

It is an almost $11 million increase from this current budget or about a 7.5% increase.

The budget would add more than 50 new positions to the school district.

There is a joint meeting between the Framingham City Council’s finance subcommittee and the School Committee’s finance subcommittee tonight on the budget at 7 p.m. in the Blumer room
