BELLINGHAM – The MetroWest Visitors Bureau has re-branded to the MetroWest Boston Visitors Bureau, announced its executive director Erin Lynch.

The organization has also moved from Framingham to Bellingham.

“As the travel industry begins to rebound, we are striving to ensure that MetroWest remains competitive in the marketplace. The traditional business travel that generated so much revenue for our region pre-COVID is not expected to ever look quite the same. We need to expand our advertising campaigns nationally and internationally in order to reach a broader market,” said Lynch.

“To better capture the attention of potential travelers, the MetroWest Visitors Bureau is becoming the MetroWest Boston Visitors Bureau. The new name make us more quickly identifiable geographically when marketing to a national and international audience. This change reflects the nomenclature adopted by most of our region’s hotels, giving context to our proximity to Greater Boston,” said Lynch.

“Our new logo and look will be rolled out across our website and all of our marketing platforms in the coming weeks,” said Lynch.
