FRAMINGHAM – There is no snow yet, but Framingham Superintendent of Schools Bob Tremblay called for an early release of school today, March 14.

There is a nor-easter forecasted that could bring rain, sleet, snow, and high winds.

“Due to the predicted winter weather expected, we will have an early release and all afternoon and evening activities are canceled today, Tuesday, March 14, 2023. School and Central Office Staff have been invited to leave early due to the weather as well, provided that all students are dismissed safely and accordingl,” announced the Superintendent at 4:50 a.m.

Canceled Afternoon and Evening Activities Include:

  • After-school programs and clubs
  • Athletics
  • Fine & Performing Arts
  • Late Buses
  • BLOCKS Little Explorers

“We are monitoring the weather closely, working with the Department of Public Works, Buildings and Grounds, and Transportation. We will be sure to send a communication as soon as possible if tomorrow’s schedule is going to be affected,” added Supt. Tremblay.
