MARLBOROUGH – Scott J. McManus, age 62, of Marlborough, died on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Natick, he was the son of Janice A. (Perron) McManus of Framingham and the late Ralph G. McManus, Sr.

Scott was a chef for 40 years.  He took great pride in his position at the Atlantic Café on Nantucket Island where he was head chef for many years. He also worked at White Cliffs in Northborough for several years. Scott was a chef by profession and had a great love of Nantucket Island, his family, friends, and his dogs.

He was an avid collector of WWI and WWII memorabilia.  He is one of the top collectors of “GI Joe” on the east coast. His sense of humor brought so much joy to everyone he met.

Scott will be sorely missed by his daughter, Nicole E. McManus, and grandson Aidan M. Hamilton both of West Boylston. In addition to his mother, Janice, he is survived by his siblings Ralph G. McManus, Jr. and his wife Sylvia of Framingham, Debra A McManus of Marlborough, Michael T. McManus and his wife Diane of Franklin and Heidi M. Wade and her husband Paul of Framingham.
