MARLBOROUGH – Barbara Jean (Griffin) Coffey-Pinault, age 67, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Marlborough Hospital after a brief illness.

Raised in Wayland, she was the daughter of the late David & Mary (Kavanagh) Griffin.

She was the beloved wife of the late Philip Pinault of Framingham and sister of the late Mary Cantin of Medway.

Barbara worked for many years as an office manager and most recently was enjoying her retirement.

Barbara loved to cook and was great at it! She loved reading, crocheting, and catching a Pat’s game on a Sunday. She was a hard worker and provider, a fierce protector, funny, kind, and a firecracker at times. She adored her dog Anna, who she considered one of her best friends!

Barbara is survived by her daughter Jennifer Capenito and her husband Tim of Worcester and her grandsons, Colin, and Carter. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew and her close friends, Mike, Rosanne, and Tammy.

At Barbara’s request, a private celebration will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Buddy Dog Humane Society at 151 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, 01776  or www.buddydoghs.org

Barbara’s arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Norton Funeral Home, Framingham
