FRAMINGHAM – Framingham State juniors Katty Haidul, Flannery O’Connor and Gwendolyn Carpenter have been named to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Basketball All- Conference squad as voted on by the seven coaches around the conference. 

O’Connor, who was the MASCAC Rookie of the Year in 2020 and MASCAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2022, earns her third All-MASCAC selection and second 1st Team honors. O’Connor averaged a double-double of 17.8 points per game and 10.3 rebounds. Her average points per game were first while rebounds second at the end of the regular season. She also was in the top five in field goal percentage (51.2), free throw percentage (79.8), total rebounds (205) and blocks (22).

Haidul joins her classmate on the 1st Team for the second consecutive season. She was named MASCAC Player of the Week on three occasions this season and averaged a double-double with 16.7 points and a league-leading 11.3 rebounds per game. She was ranked third in the league in points, led the league in free throw percentage (82.6) and was second in field goal percentage (56.4). 

Carpenter who was chosen 2nd Team All-MASCAC for the second consecutive season led the league in assists with 152 and assist to turnover ratio at 1.7 while finishing in the top five in three-point percentage (33.3) and free throw percentage (75.5). 

The Rams finished their season with an overall record of 17-6 and 9-3 in MASCAC earning the #2 seed in the MASCAC Tournament.
